Gumbo at St. James
The community members at St. James Episcopal Church are pulling out their gumbo pots to celebrate 71 years of service. Take your gumbo to go or dine in from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 24 at 205 N. Fourth St., in Baton Rouge.
Order online at stjamesgumbo.org from March 20 to March 23, make a phone order from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. March 24 by calling (225) 387-5141 or pick up an order on the northbound lane on North Fourth Street in front of Bishops Hall on March 24.

Food and culture discussion

Support the University Laboratory School Cub Club from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, March 20 at City Slice, 124 W. Chimes St. in Baton Rouge, for a give-back night. Write Cub Club on your receipt to donate 10% of the sales back to the club.
