LSU Lady Tigers vs. Texas Southern Tigers

The LSU Lady Tigers will face off against the Texas Southern Tigers Women’s Basketball team at 7:00 p.m. in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and admission is free for LSU students.

Fighting Game Night at Little Wars

Local gaming store, Little Wars, will be hosting a Fighting Game Night. Fighting-themed games such as Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and Guilty Gear will be set up for playing. The event begins at 8 p.m. at Little Wars’ 7543 Jefferson Highway Location. Admission is $5.

LSU Symphonic Band: “Color from the Light”

The LSU Symphonic Band will be performing “Color from the Light”, a concert paying tribute to the groundbreaking composers that set the tone for a new era of music. Pieces by composers such as David Maslanka and Julie Giroux will be performed. The performance will be in the Union Theatre. Line Dancing at the Park

There will be a Line Dancing lesson at North Sherwood Forest Community Park at 6 p.m. The beginner-friendly activity allows participants to get moving with a mixture of aerobics and line dancing. Lunchtime Lagniappe

Capitol Park Museum is continuing its series of free lectures, this time with one from James Linden Hogg, a Baton Rouge native who is a historian, musician, and storyteller. He will be discussing his latest literary work, “Finding Faith in the Waste Land.” The lecture begins at 12:00 p.m., and Capitol Park Museum is located at 660 North 4th Street.

R&B vs. Trap: Pre-Thanksgiving Special

Red Stick Social will be hosting an R&B vs. Trap-themed social to commemorate the night before the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be music and bowling, as well as drink specials for those 21 and over. Holiday Lights at Baton Rouge Zoo

BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo will unveil ZooLights, its annual exhibition of holiday-themed lights throughout the zoo. Come out to see the illuminated display sculptures of animals and enjoy the trail that goes through the zoo. Admission gates are open from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
