1 injured in early Sunday shooting in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened on Mulberry Street early Sunday morning.

According to the police, officers found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds around 7:26 a.m. Police said detectives are still in the early stages of the investigation and are looking for a motive and a suspect.

No further details about the shooting or the victim were given. This is a developing story.
