2 suspects wanted in 'targeted attack,' Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office says

DARROW, La. (BRPROUD) – Detectives are looking for two men accused of armed robbery and attempted murder among other charges.

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for Calvin Adams III of Convent and Kevin Ross Jr. of Monroe. The two men are wanted in connection with an incident that took place in Darrow on Monday, March 27, officials said.

APSO said deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Galaxy and Neptune boulevards at 9 a.m. where shell casings were found.

During the investigation, investigators discovered that the shooting was a “targeted attack.” The man who was the target of the attack was reportedly not hurt, according to APSO.

The duo is facing these charges:

  • Attempted first-degree murder
  • Illegal use of weapons
  • Armed robbery
  • Armed robbery with a firearm
  • Second-degree kidnapping
  • Criminal street gangs and patterns of criminal street gang activity
