Baton Rouge Police: Man accused of molesting, committing sex act in front of 6-year-old boy

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Nicholas Freiberger, 18, was charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and sexual battery after an investigation by the Baton Rouge Police Department.

The investigator in this case observed an interview with a 6-year-old boy. (The alleged incident happened on or around June 11 on Wingate Drive.) The boy said he was lying down when Freiberger reportedly “held his hands down the bed,” then touched the child’s genitals with his mouth according to the affidavit. The boy then described how Freiberger masturbated in front of him.

The boy said that Freiberger told him not to say anything or “he would go to jail” if he told anyone about the incident. The mother of the child was alerted to what happened and questioned Freiberger. Freiberger reportedly admitted to masturbating in front of the boy, according to the affidavit.

The 18-year-old was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Monday, July 17.

Freiberger remains behind bars on $400,000 bond.
