Crews tackle fire at Wendy’s on Bluebonnet Boulevard; no injuries reported

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A Wendy’s located in the 9900 block of Bluebonnet Boulevard was the scene of an early morning fire. The St. George Fire Department responded to the fast food restaurant a little after 6:20 a.m. on Monday, April 24.

Firefighters went to work getting the fire under control and were able to do so in around 10 minutes. SGFD said the entire scene was under control in around 30 minutes.

There were no reported injuries and the investigation into the cause of the fire remains ongoing.

According to the St. George Fire Department, this “Wendy’s location will be closed until it is safe and health conditions are appropriate to open.”
