Jackson Community Park playground, splash pad to close Thursday for construction

CENTRAL, La. (BRPROUD) — BREC says the Jackson Community Park playground and splash pad will be closed all day Thursday, July 14 for construction.

Construction includes playground additions, according to BREC. Parks and recreation officials said if work cannot be completed Thursday due to rain, then the construction will take place on Friday. The closure is expected to last one day before reopening to the public.

Jackson Community Park is located at 12250 Sullivan Road.
