Live After Five in Baton Rouge: See the spring 2024 music lineup

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Live After Five, the largest and longest-running free concert series in Baton Rouge, is returning this spring.

The concert series will be taking place from 5-8 p.m. at the Rhorer Plaza in downtown Baton Rouge on April 12, 19 and 26 and May 10, 17, and 24.

“This spring season is going to be one for the books. The music, the food, the artists, the second-line parade—Downtown Baton Rouge is really the place to be right now,” Luke Lognion, managing director of Live After Five said.

Check out the lineup of bands that will be performing at this spring’s Live After Five:

  • April 12: Groovy 7
  • April 19: Kenny Neal Blues Fest
  • April 26: Todd O’Neil
  • May 10: The Original Pinettes
  • May 17: Bucktown Allstars
  • May 24: Michael Foster Project

According to a release, there will be a variety of attractions for attendees to enjoy, including food and drink vendors, an art market and a kids’ zone.

New to this year’s event will be a second-line parade that is headlined by the Brasshearts brass band. The second-line route will be going down 3rd Street and ending at Boudreaux & Thibodeaux’s.
