WEST FELICIANA PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) – A man in West Feliciana Parish was arrested in connection to the death of his girlfriend.

According to the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a call around 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 9 about a female who was found dead in her vehicle near the intersection of US Hwy 61 and La Hwy 421 north of St. Francisville.

The sheriff’s office identified the woman as Radayisha King, 25.

The sheriff’s office said an investigation led deputies to Lorenzo Green, 26, her boyfriend and the father of her child. A search of his home gave deputies enough evidence to arrest him, the sheriff’s office said.

“I’m very proud of my investigators and the valuable assistance of the Louisiana State Police crime scene investigators for the work they put into this case,” said Sheriff Spillman. “As tragic as this death is for the family, I’m grateful we were able to make a quick arrest and give them a small amount of closure.”

Green was booked into the West Feliciana Parish jail and charged with second-degree murder. His bond has not been set.
