ZACHARY, La. (BRPROUD) – A recently opened restaurant in Zachary will take you back to the ’70s and offer you both vintage “unhealthy foods” and keto diet options.
Kinetic Rock Burgers is at 5145 Main St., and it’s been in the works for more than a decade, according to co-owner Zachariah Cloonan. (Mike Cloonan, Jamie Culley and Sabal Cloonan are the other co-owners.)
Zachariah considers Zachary to be a wonderful city, and this sit-down restaurant is the group’s latest investment here. Zachariah said they “also own and operate Zachary Martial Arts, Kinetic Lifeworks Fitness Gym and Zachary Music Shop.”
Kinetic Rock Burgers “was one way that accommodates our Fitness Gym by offering keto meals ready to go,” according to Zachariah.
The keto meals are based on the ketogenic diet which “primarily consists of high fats, moderate proteins, and very low carbohydrates,” according to the National Institutes of Health.
They offer the keto diet in bundle packages by the week. For example, a small package can range from eight to 16 meals per week. Orders can be placed at KRB Keto.
The owners consider this restaurant to be non-traditional. Keto is a staple, but their burgers are their favorites to create.

If you decide to eat in at Kinetic Rock Burgers, Zachariah said he wants customers to feel welcomed by the mom-and-pop atmosphere. The restaurant has a ’70s theme, including music.
Kinetic Rock Burgers serves breakfast, lunch and dinner from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.
