New Orleans Saints football player holds Baton Rouge football camp for kids

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Malcolm Roach is coming back home!

The hometown hero is hosting a football camp Saturday, June 17 at the Louisiana Leadership Institute. The camp will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 5763 Hopper Road and is free for age groups: 6-10, 11-13, and 14-18.

Roach said he’s making it a point to come back to be a mentor and example for kids in his community just as he had growing up. The event will teach the youth that football is more than just a game while giving them the fundamentals of the game as well. Those who attend can expect a day filled with food, fun and fellowship.
