BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Louisiana State University Police Department is investigating an incident where a person was seen “brandishing a pistol-like firearm” Thursday night.
The university said the victim, who isn’t an LSU student, was walking to Fat Boy’s Pizza on Nicholson Drive at 7 p.m. and saw a person in an unknown SUV approach them, brandishing a gun. The car reportedly left the area after driving past the victim.
LSU PD officers could not find the suspect. No injuries or shots fired were reported. LSU PD is looking at security camera footage from the area in its investigation.
The case is ongoing.
