The past couple of weeks we have had stalled-out fronts that produce storms for several days. This week we are in the same setup. A stalled out front is sitting over us and producing showers and storms late in our day. These storms are slow-moving but produce a large amount of rainfall.
The largest rain amounts are staying along the coast and the southern parts of the state. These rain totals are dependent on the movement of the front.

As we move forward into the weekend is a bit uncertain. The things to watch for are a large amount of moisture and the possibility of development in the Gulf of Mexico. For our area, we could see an increase or decrease in rain chances for the weekend. Stay tuned for updates as we get more information.
