
GONZALES, La. (BRPROUD) — The fourth annual Ascension Children’s Business Fair is back for yet another year as they illustrate children’s entrepreneurial skills. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 21 at 316 East Hwy. 30 at Active Martial Arts in Gonzales.
“Today’s youth are tomorrow’s business innovators and leaders,” said Jeff Sandefer, founder of the Acton School of Business. “The Children’s Business Fair gives students the opportunity to spread their entrepreneurial wings and get a head start on promising business careers.”
The business fair will be hosting more than 25 young entrepreneurs. According to the Active Team, the event is looking for those wanting to jump-start their youth entrepreneurship, whether that is creating a product or service or launching a business.
According to a release, cash prizes of $50 will be given out to the following four age groups including, 6-7, 8-10, 11-12 and 13-14 for Most Business Potential, Most Creative Idea and Most Impressive Presentation.
The event is free and open to the public. Children, ages 6-14, will be able to apply. Click here to register, as spaces will be limited.
