Star forward Aneesah Morrow joins LSU women’s basketball team

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Aneesah Morrow is heading to the LSU women’s basketball team via the NCAA transfer portal.

The former DePaul forward tweeted “24 New Home💛💜.COMMITTED” on Friday afternoon with a photo of her in LSU gear, sitting next to the championship trophy.

Head coach Kim Mulkey also tweeted “Let’s GEAUX!! #WelcomeToTheShow”.

On Sunday, April 30, Morrow tweeted pictures of her wearing LSU gear and asked the question, “Tiger Nation what’s upppp?” She also recently visited Baton Rouge.

LSU is getting a player who just finished a sophomore season where she scored almost 26 points a game and averaged over 12 rebounds along with one block a game.

Morrow joins Hailey Van Lith on the LSU women’s basketball team.
