Traffic Alert: Crash with injuries on I-110 North near Convention Street exit causes closures, congestion

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Officials say at least one person was injured in a Sunday, July 31 crash on I-110 North near the Convention Street exit.

As of 3:15 p.m., the exit ramp from I-10 West to I-110 North is closed due to the crash, and area congestion is approaching one mile in length.

The incident occurred around 2:56 p.m. and Baton Rouge Police are at the scene.

At this time, there is no word on the extent of the wounded person’s injuries.

Area drivers should use caution or take a different route.
