What to know about the cannabis street festival in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Anyone 18 and older is invited to the Red Stick Cannabis Street Fair that’s happening from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 29 at Galvez Plaza.

The festival’s website said its purpose is to celebrate the cannabis plant’s healing power and also educate the public about criminal justice, social issues, science and more. CBD, alcohol and other items are age-restricted. A government-issued photo ID must be shown to buy anything.

The festival will have live music, food trucks and exhibits for attendees to enjoy.

General admission is $20. VIP access is $42.20 and includes general admission benefits, access to the VIP lounge plus a catered meal. There is also a virtual option for those interested. Find more information about tickets here.

Outside food or drinks, drugs or drug paraphernalia, professional recording equipment and weapons are not allowed at the event. See the full list of prohibited items.
