LSU golfer partners with Baton Rouge attorney

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A member of the LSU women’s golf team is partnering with Baton Rouge lawyer Gordon McKernan.

Graduate student Latanna Stone becomes the first LSU golfer to sign a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with McKernan’s G Team, according to a release.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Latanna to the G Team as our debut NIL partner from LSU women’s golf,” said McKernan.

Stone has participated in six U.S. Women’s Amateur Championships and was a part of the LSU women’s golf team that won the SEC Women’s Golf Championship during the 2021-2022 season, according to a release.

“Latanna continues to inspire the standards of excellence both on and off the golf course,” said McKernan. “With her outstanding leadership, hard work, and commitment to success, she embodies the values that define this firm.”

The LSU women’s golf team’s next event is from Monday, March 4 to Wednesday, March 6 at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
