LSU all-arounder Haleigh Bryant made it back-to-back Southeastern Conference gymnast of the week honors Tuesday after leading the No. 6 Tigers to victory Friday in the four-team Podium Challenge at the Raising Cane’s River Center.
Bryant posted a 39.700 to win her eighth all-around title this season. She also tied for first place on vault with teammate Chase Brock (9.975), closed with a 9.975 on floor and had a 9.90 on uneven bars and a 9.85 on balance beam.
The junior from Cornelius, North Carolina now has 22 individual titles this season and 52 for her career, tied for 10th-most in program history. She leads the nation in vault scoring and is the nation’s fourth-ranked all-arounder.
The Tigers host West Virginia at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
