HFTP Celebrates the Upcoming 75th Anniversary of ICHRIE

The association supports the upcoming hospitality and tourism educators’ event, August 3–6 in Washington, D.C., providing the latest on global hospitality finance and technology.

Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals is pleased to support the upcoming International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (ICHRIE) Annual Summer Conference as its 75th Anniversary sponsor. The established event offers varied programming, including educational presentations on research and other academic-focused sessions, association business meetings, networking events and concluding with a Celebration Dinner and Gala. As part of its participation at the conference, HFTP will provide updates in multiple education sessions. The event will take place August 3–6 at the Renaissance Washington, D.C. Downtown Hotel in Washington, D.C. USA.

On August 4, Michael Levie, CHTP will be the guest speaker at the Hospitality Information Technology Special Interest Group. Levie is a founding partner and COO of tech-forward citizenM Hotels, HFTP Global Past President, and an inductee to the HFTP International Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame. The session will discuss how technology and innovation are transforming the hospitality industry, with Levie providing insights from his experiences developing a successful international brand using technology as a pillar.
