The Northport Hotel announced that they will be accepting guest reservations for hotel stays that begin August 1, 2023. The hotel will announce the Grand Opening date, as well as the potential to book hotel rooms for July, in late spring.

The first completely new luxury boutique hotel to open in historic downtown Northport Village on Long Island’s Gold Coast features 26 rooms with indulgent amenities, and a 175-seat casual fine dining restaurant.

For 15 years, the John W. Engeman Theater has brought the finest live theater to Long Island–where Broadway meets Main Street in Northport. The owners of the John W. Engeman Theater are proud to present their greatest production yet The Northport Hotel. Co-Owner, Richard Dolce states, “This unique offering of theater, a casual fine dining restaurant, and a luxury hotel at your fingertips is unmatched and complemented by all that Northport Village has to offer.”

“We could not be more excited to begin taking reservations for our future guests,” said Co-Owner Kevin O’Neill. “This project is the culmination of years of thought, planning, and constructing a property that will do justice to the beauty that Northport Village deserves. We look forward to welcoming guests and providing them with charm and comfort that one would normally believe you would have to travel to the east end of Long Island to experience.”

The check-in and stay experience begins with private lounge access, morning continental breakfast, and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages with small bites in the evening.

The Northport Hotel offers seven guestroom styles. Amenities range from heated bathroom floors, Serta Simmons BeautyRest Pillowtop Black Napa Bedding, 100% Egyptian cotton sheets, independently controlled heating and cooling, high-speed Wi-Fi, 55″ HDTV with streaming, luxury bathroom amenities to include Natura Bisse and Local Soap Artisan Penny & Cooper: all the comforts of luxury.

Catie Vandrei, Project Architect, and Karen Jahn, Associate, at Hoffman Grayson Architects stated, “The Northport Hotel was designed to feel like it was always a part of Northport Village. Traditional shingle style elements, such as wood shingle siding, dormers, double-hung windows, trim details, and the brick base of the building, all tie in with the existing fabric of this waterfront village. This unique American architectural style encourages the expression of individualism, which can be seen in the distinctive design of the curved corner entrance along with sloping parapets and tower elements. The operable windows and porch-like feel of the front facade of the building provide for a visual interaction between the hotel, restaurant guests, and pedestrians on the sidewalk, maintaining the walkable feel of this historic downtown.”

In collaboration with hospitality designers Dallago Associate, Inc., Kevin O’Neill’s vision of refined hospitality and style is brought to life. “Walking through the beautiful, iconic town of Northport offers all the inspiration we needed to create a classic, timeless hotel and restaurant,” stated Sharon Dallago Genden, Principal of Dallago Associates, Inc. “The boutique feel was always forefront, so the feeling of “home” was the aesthetic. The spaces were designed for guests to truly immerse in the moment of their special occasion. The warmth of the flooring, contrasting against the classic batten applied molding details of the white walls surrounded by classic lighting, creates an energy for all to enjoy.”
