(BRPROUD) \u2013 The Ascension Parish community is invited to attend a ribbon-cutting to celebrate a newly renovated playground. <\/p>\n<p>The Ascension Parish Recreation Department will officially open Youth Legacy Duplessis Park at 10 a.m. on June 24 to unveil new state-of-the-art facilities. The additions were designed to provide an inclusive, safe, engaging play area with a challenging course for all ages. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese outdoor spaces are important for providing our children with a place to maintain physical health, engage with others, and also for families to create lasting memories,\u201d Ascension Parish President Clint Cointment said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>The park is located at 38103 Hwy 621 in Gonzales. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brproud.com\/news\/local-news\/ascension-parish\/renovated-park-to-open-in-gonzales-with-new-playground\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Source<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>GONZALES, La.
