BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — At the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean sits one of the most famous shipwrecks of all time. The Titanic has been the focus of documentaries and movies but there’s one version of the famous ship you may have not seen before.

Parks Stephenson, Executive Director of the USS KIDD Veterans Museum and Titanic explorer has partnered with the Atlantic Productions to put together a new Titanic photographic model, which has just been released publicly.

“When I first saw the results of this photogrammetry model, I was blown away. It looked completely different, but at the same time it looked very familiar. I was surprised at the actual condition of the wreck that this model showed us, but at the same time, I knew it was accurate. I knew that we’ve been wrong in the past,” explained Stephenson.

Stephenson says after more than 100 years, this means there are still questions that are left unanswered. He says he will continue to work with Atlantic Productions to gather more Titanic research.
