Baton Rouge police looking for woman connected to bus driver attack

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department is looking for a woman who is wanted in connection with the attack on a school bus driver.

Police were called to the scene after a student on the bus was involved in a verbal altercation with the driver in the 4600 block of Bradley Street on Tuesday.

Police said Carlicia Lewis, 18, another subject, and the student allegedly attacked the driver who was still in the driver’s seat of the bus. The bus driver reportedly received multiple injuries to her head, neck, and shoulder area.

According to the police, Brittany Banks, 34, is wanted for the battery of a school bus driver, second-degree battery and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Anyone with information on her location should contact the police at 225-389-4869 or Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.
