Woman accused of waving gun around minors during fight in Denham Springs

Man faces attempted murder charge after shooting in park; 1 hurt

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (BRPROUD) – A woman was arrested Friday after allegedly waving a gun near juveniles.

The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a disturbance call at the intersection of Waterford Court and Shady Bend Drive around 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 26.

Taylor Stewart, 29, allegedly hit two juveniles while they were fighting. The sheriff’s office said she retrieved her firearm from a residence and waved it at the juveniles.

She was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and two counts of simple battery.

The disturbance is still under investigation.
