For superfans of “The Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” franchises on ABC, the phrase “the most dramatic season ever” is something viewers are used to hearing by now.

The previews show dates in some of the most beautiful places in the world, fights, tears and heartbreak. It’s a rinse and repeat for each new season.

But in a shocking spoiler released earlier this week, the finale drama in Season 28 with lead Joey Graziadei involves Kelsey Anderson, a contestant from New Orleans who is gaining in popularity among viewers.

Steve Carbone, universally known as Reality Steve, is the largest reality TV spoiler online. His predictions for final four, top two and winners in “The Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” franchise have been consumed for years.

Carbone is rarely wrong. He has a wide net of sources and gets photo and video evidence and shares on the Reality Steve blog.

But this season, Reality Steve made a mistake and finally got to the bottom of the “unprecedented” season ending.

So what’s the actual spoiler? Carbone said that Daisy Kent, a children’s author and advocate for the deaf community, realizes after her final date with Joey that she’s not the one, and she tells Kelsey that she’s the one for the “Bachelor” before the final rose ceremony.

A contestant has never done this on the franchise before, and Carbone reports that Kelsey and Joey got engaged and have been together since filming.

Originally, Reality Steve reported that Daisy was the winner of the season, but new photos emerged of Kelsey and Joey together on weekends at a house together, along with other tips on how the ending of “The Bachelor” went down.

Spoilers can be wrong, but if Reality Steve is right, that means that Kelsey will be the first-ever winner from New Orleans.

Anderson, a junior project manager, has been praised online for avoiding the drama of this season and for sharing about her mother’s death after a battle with cancer. She is a native of Leesville, which is north of Lake Charles and west of Alexandria.
