Audubon Regional Library to hold Festival of Fables; other March library events planned at the Felicianas

On March 23, the Clinton Branch of Audubon Regional Library will hold its first Festival of Fables from 10 a.m. until noon.

It will also be the grand opening of the new Clinton Branch, 11023 Bank St.

Storytellers, games, books, costumed performers, a balloon artist, a face painter, an inflatable, food trucks and refreshments will be available. Call (225) 683-8753 or visit www.facebook.com/audubonregional.

Every Tuesday at 10 a.m., All three branches will have Storytime. This will include a mix of themed stories, songs and rhymes, and an craft. All ages are welcome and encouraged to join. For more information call your local branch. 

Every Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, Scrabble Club at the Jackson Branch.

March 9 at 10 a.m., at the Jackson Branch: A Beginner Crochet Class will cover the basics such as simple stitches, chains and slip stitches. Participants will make a bookmark to take home, along with free additional practice patterns. Registration is required.

March 13 at 11 a.m., at the Clinton Branch: Homeschool Hangout Program. Learn about upcoming events and resources the library offers.
