Baton Rouge church hosts conference to empower women

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — This weekend a Baton Rouge church is hosting a conference to empower women from all walks of life in honor of Women’s History Month.

The conference called “Woman UP” aims to help Baton Rouge area women overcome their fears and obstacles, find their spiritual gifts, and fulfill their calling through faith and ministry.

Interactive sessions and panels start Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. On Sunday, gospel artist Kim Burrell is expected to speak at both the 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services.
