BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Do you remember how to do the “Cupid Shuffle”?
Baton Rouge Community College Bears men’s and women’s basketball teams will host the Southern University–Shreveport Jaguars in a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb 24. The women’s game will begin at 2 p.m. and the men’s game will follow at 4 p.m.
Lafayette-native and multi-platinum artist Cupid will sing his hit song “Cupid Shuffle.”
“We are bringing the excitement back on campus to BRCC basketball,” said BRCC Athletics Director Brock Kantrow. “We’ve enhanced our gameday experience for students and fans with several upgrades inside our facility, and it’s been well received by our community and supporters. It truly is a great value for those looking to entertain the family at a reasonable cost, and what better way is there to wrap up the basketball season by doing the ‘Cupid Shuffle’ at home with our fans.”
The game will take place in Bonne Sante’ Health and Wellness Center on the Mid City Campus. The center is located at 201 Community College Drive.
BRCC students and employees can enter for free with their issued ID.
