BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A new dessert franchise is opening in Baton Rouge.
According to its website, The Peach Cobbler Factory will have a location in Baton Rouge soon.
The Peach Cobbler Factory offers a variety of cobblers, pairing flavors like peach, strawberry, honey apple, cinnamon praline and sweet potato pecan with ice cream. It also sells cookies that combine cobbler options that top a large cookie.
Other desserts sold include cinnamon rolls with flavors such as Nutella, apple butter and orange marmalade. Ice cream and cobbler are topping options.
Franchise Owner Iris Nettles confirmed that she will be opening the Baton Rouge location and a Zachary location.
Nettles said the Baton Rouge location will be at 7514 Bluebonnet Blvd. Suite R, two doors down from Buffalo Wild Wings. She hopes to open by early September.
The Zachary location will open when Nettles can get the Baton Rouge location running, she said.
