Details set for NCAA game Sunday between LSU and Michigan; see tip time, TV network

It will be a prime-time matchup Sunday between LSU and Michigan in the second round of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament.

The game will tip off at 6:30 p.m. at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center and will be shown on ESPN.

The winner between the No. 3-seeded Tigers (29-2) and No. 6 Wolverines (23-9) will advance to the semifinals of the Greenville 2 Regional next weekend in Greenville, South Carolina.

LSU advanced with a 73-50 win Friday over No. 14 Hawaii. Michigan opened with a 71-59 win over No. 11 UNLV.

The Tigers, who were eliminated 79-64 by Ohio State in the second round last year, are trying to reach the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2014. The Wolverines got all the way to the Elite Eight in 2022 before losing 62-50 to Louisville.
