Firehouse Subs to collect donations for Mississippi tornado relief

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — All Baton Rouge Firehouse Subs restaurants are raising money for relief efforts after a tornado hit Mississippi, the establishment announced.

Firehouse Subs visitors can donate at their local restaurant.

The announcement came after a $15,000 grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation to the American Red Cross after a deadly tornado that ripped through Mississippi on March 24.

Donations will be accepted beginning Saturday, April 1 through Friday, April 7. The funds will benefit the Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund which is for food and support for disaster relief, as well as long-term equipment.
