Despite landing a No. 1 recruiting class and the nation’s top two transfers, no LSU women’s basketball players entered the transfer portal.

Reserve freshman forward Alisa Williams has decided to transfer instead of remain with the reigning NCAA champions.

The 6-foot-2 native from Denton, Texas, played just a total of 58 minutes in 20 games, scoring 18 total points and grabbing 20 rebounds. Her season highs of 10 points and seven rebounds came back on Nov. 13 against Western Carolina.

Williams likely wasn’t anticipating much playing time with LSU landing All-American forward Aneesah Morrow, a transfer from DePaul who ESPN ranked as the No. 2 transfer prospect this year behind Louisville guard Hailey Van Lith, who also became a Tiger.
