BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The champs are here!
LSU Lady Tigers championship stars suit up for some one-on-one interaction with Tiger fans and Caniac lovers.
Basketball stars Angel Reese, Flau’jae Johnson, and Alexis Morris, alongside the support from Hall of Fame Head Coach Kim Mulkey, the team is showing their gratitude and appreciation for their local community.
“They’re champions, we’re all so proud of them. They’re just fine young ladies and an amazing coach. These are strong women and they’re a good example for us and they’re our Tigers and our team. So I’m just so proud of them. It’s a good way to celebrate,” CEO of Raising Cane’s, Todd Graves said.
“It’s incredible. Yes. We love celebrating with you guys. Yall were in the P Mac rooting for us the whole season. We really appreciate all that. Thank you. A remarkable year. Thank you so much,” LSU Women’s Basketball stars said.
An iconic moment in LSU history, which led to Coach Mulkey saying there is a reason so many people are paying attention to women’s basketball this year.
“These are three of the reasons. Not only are they talented, they’re independent, they’re team players,” Mulkey said.
