March Madness at the PMAC: Here's what to know about LSU parking, tickets, other details

March Madness is coming to Baton Rouge this year as LSU serves as one of eight host sites for the first and second round of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament.

Starting Friday, a total of three games in the will be held in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center over the weekend. 

Michigan will face UNLV at 2 p.m. on Friday, followed by LSU vs. Hawaii at 4:30 p.m. The winner of each game will face each other in the second round on Sunday afternoon, with tip-off time to be decided.

Tickets available

General admission tickets are still available for seats in the upper level of the PMAC, with prices ranging from $30 to $35 for adults and $14 for youth ages three to 12.

Tickets can be purchased through the LSU Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 960-8587 or (225) 578-2184 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will also be available at www.LSUtix.net.

All tickets will be sent via mobile delivery. Children under the age of three do not need a ticket to enter.

Where to park

Reserved parking permits are available for $20 and are valid for both the First and Second Round games. Lots 101, 104, 105 and 201 are reserved for parking permit recipients.

Gameday shuttles will be available for pick up and dropping off near each of the reserved lots before and after each game.

Access to N. Stadium Dr. will be restricted 90 minutes before each game.

Huge expectations

Thousands are expected at the PMAC to cheer on LSU as the Tigers tied their best regular season record in school history, going 27-1.

Despite their historic success, the team is coming off a surprising loss to Tennessee in semifinals of the conference tournament on March 4.

The LSU women have won one NCAA Tournament game since a run to the Sweet 16 in 2014, defeating Jackson State 77-83 in the First Round last season.

LSU has never won a national title, but it has reached the Final Four five times,with the last appearance coming in 2008.
