One injured in Plank Road shooting, officials say

EBRSO chase puts elementary school on temporary lockdown Tuesday

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A Tuesday afternoon shooting on Plank Road left one person with injuries, officials say. 

According to capital area first responders, the wounded person was found in the 7200 block of Plank Road around 3 p.m., near a Chevron gas station. The individual was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time, details related to the shooting are limited and BRProud is working to obtain more information from the Baton Rouge Police Department.
