Police: ‘Unknown suspect’ shot at apartment building, injuring woman

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A woman was injured in a Saturday night shooting at an apartment complex on Greenwell Springs Road, authorities say. 

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, the incident occurred at Greenwell Plaza Apartments. Officials say the wounded woman was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive her injuries.

BRPD confirmed that the suspect who shot at the building has yet to be identified.
