BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A Monday evening double shooting in Greenwell Springs left two men wounded, authorities say. 

According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, it was around 7:20 p.m. when the shots were fired in the 19000 block of Pride-Baywood Road.

Deputies say the two injured men told them they were standing outside when someone drove by and shot them both in the shoulder.

The men were in stable condition when they were taken to an area hospital for treatment, and they’re expected to survive their injuries.

EBRSO says the incident remains under investigation.
