BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting on North Acadian Thruway.
The shooting was reported on Monday, May 22. According to the police, a man was shot and killed in his car while at a red light.
The police said the driver tried to get away but ended up crashing into a light pole and died at the scene. The coroner’s office said the victim’s identity will be withheld until next of kin has been notified.
