BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Local businesses are ready to help you show support for the LSU Lady Tigers with championship gear.
Co-owner of Bengals and Bandits, Patrick Wilkerson says fans who want to be dressed for the occasion need to get their orders in now.
“There’s been a lot of excitement. We started pre-selling products as soon as the game was over. We’ve seen tons of orders coming in,” he said. “We’re waiting for the majority of our product to make it in. We do have a few shirts we were able to get locally for today but we’re waiting for the rest of the inventory to come in.”
Wilkerson says people can expect more fan gear to come in, especially non-clothing items.
“We do have men’s and women’s, we also have some youth shirts come in as well. So we’ll have a mix for the whole family as well as a few other products,” he said.
Items will range in different designs and range in a variety of sizes, said Wilkerson. He also says that with the selling of the new products, it was important for the business to take action in helping fans with gear.
“It’s definitely important for us to end the season with a huge win and that kind of translates over with excitement of fans. That helps us sell some more shirts, get more excitement, and really gear it up for next year,” he said.
Fans can also purchase merchandise at Barnes & Noble on LSU’s campus, DICK’S Sporting Goods, and other local sports wear stores in the area.
If you are interested in purchasing with Bengals and Bandits, items can be pre-ordered, purchased in-store and ordered online.
The Lady LSU Tigers will celebrate with a parade Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. and a celebration inside the PMAC at 7 p.m.
