Jassoni Martin has been named pharmacy director at Lane Regional Medical Center, responsible for operation and management of Lane’s retail pharmacy and the hospital’s pharmacy department to ensure quality pharmaceutical services are provided according to accreditation and professional standards.
A graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe, Martin has more than 12 years of pharmacy experience. Before this position she was the retail pharmacy manager at Our Lady of the Lake. She is a member of the Minority Women Pharmacists Association, Louisiana Pharmacist Association, University of Louisiana at Monroe Alumni Association, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
“I am so happy to be part of the Lane team because of its mission to provide an exceptional health care experience with each interaction,” says Martin. “Through pharmacy services, I hope to improve health care outcomes and live out our vision of becoming the best community health care system in the nation.”
Martin and her husband Josh live in Zachary and have two daughters. In her spare time, Martin enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
