BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Whitney Presley, owner of a cotton candy business on wheels, brings an organic sweet treat to you and local organizations.
Presley is the founder of Le Doodle, a cotton candy business in Baton Rouge. She sells her edible clouds on a cart.
She said it all started out as a birthday idea.
“Being the extra mom that I am everybody goes all out for their baby’s first birthday. So, I had my father-in-law build this cart for me,” Presley explained.
She named the cart after her son’s nickname, “noodle doodle.”
Once COVID hit, Presley thought she’d have to put her cart away. Then her family encouraged her to start a business out of it. When she’s not selling, she donates to different organizations.
“When the Knock Knock Children’s Museum had their grand opening I donated this and came and spun cotton candy for the kids,” she said.
Presley often turns non-believers into believers with her sweet treat.
“The guests say I don’t like cotton candy and they’ll try it and say Oh my God!” said Presley.
This is also a treat you can indulge in, guilt-free!
“You won’t feel like Oh my God I just ate all this sugar, it’s just so light.”
You can also save it for later.
“We also have packaged cotton candy, any flavor can be any color and we will do the logo for you.”
Presley also has a popsicle cart but cotton candy is her first love.
