First pitch for LSU baseball’s matchup against Texas State in the Astros Foundation College Classic at Minute Maid Park on Sunday has been moved to 3:40 p.m.

The game was originally scheduled to start at 3 p.m. The game will be streamed on Astros.com and televised on Space City Home Network.

The matchup was moved back after Texas’ matchup against Vanderbilt went longer than expected with the game lasting three hours and 30 minutes.

The Commodores came back from an 11-3 deficit in the fourth inning to take down the Longhorns, 14-11. It was Vanderbilt’s third win in three games at the event and Texas’ third loss.

LSU defeated the Longhorns 6-3 on Friday. Texas lost its second game of the event on Saturday to Texas State, 11-10.

The Tigers and Bobcats head into Sunday’s matchup with 2-0 record. LSU defeated UL for its second win of the event on Saturday. Before beating Texas, Texas State defeated Houston in 10 innings on Friday.

Starting on the mound for LSU is right-hander Thatcher Hurd. Hurd enters Sunday’s start with a 9.00 ERA in seven innings. Right-hander Sam Hall, who holds a 4.50 ERA, will start for Texas State.
